Trunk or Treat, Smell my Feet.

Yesterday was G’s first Halloween, and we had a fun filled day of Trunk or Treating and church carnivals.

G was dressed as Blaze, the green dragon who is the mascot for J’s alma mater, UAB.

I dressed up as his biggest fan:

We spent the morning Trunk or Treating at his preschool with all the other SUV and minivan driving mamas.

My trunk looked like Fall had puked up all over it. And I learned that next year I will set up shop on the other side of the parking lot so I won’t be sitting in the blazing sun the whole time.

Garrett really enjoyed strolling around and seeing all the other kiddies dressed up in their costumes.

In fact he was almost comatose underneath his little dragon hood. I think the silky lining rubbing on his skin was intoxicating.

That night we went to my sister’s house and took some photos with my niece who dressed up as Hannah Montana. All those pics are on my sister’s camera, so you’ll have to wait on them.

We did snap these great shots while we were there.

Later than night we went to a local church carnival with Nana and Papa.

Through the whole carnival G had this wide eyed look on his face like he couldn’t believe all the excitement that was happening around him.

He even entered the cake walk and WON!!! That’s my lucky little baby. I should get Granddaddy to take him to the casino.

Out of all that big pile cakes and goodies homemade by little Baptist women I chose the peanut butter brownies, and lemme tell you, that was the best choice I could have made. They are to die for.

brownies!

Bedtime came quickly, though, so we didn’t stay too late.
